Description
11" (28 cm.) Carved wooden domed head with oval pear-shaped face, socket neck, sculpted short brown hair with stippled details around the forehead, small painted brown eyes, black upper eyeliner and three tiny lashes, tiny brows, tiny pointed nose, closed mouth with full lips, firmly-stuffed muslin body, disc-jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (original Fehrle wrist tag). Comments: Anna Fehrle, circa 1920s. Value Points: fine original finish, the doll is wearing original red and black felt flannel checkered costume with bead-trimmed bodice, woven hat.
