Description
14" (36 cm.) Firmly-pressed muslin twill head with center seam, shaped chin and nose, tiniest pink glass bead eyes, painted brows, mouth with upturned corners, blushed cheeks, nostril dots, exaggerated wild brown yarn hair, muslin body with stitch-jointing at hips, floppy legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Comments: Brunhilde Einenkel, circa 1930, the figure was inspired by the beloved 1845 German children's book written by Heinrich Hoffmann. Value Points: all original, wearing colorful plaid costume and red felt shoes.
