Felt head with pressed and painted facial features, outlined eyes and painted lashes, blue painted eyes with black shoe-button pupils, painted brows, nostrils and eye dots, closed mouth, brunette soft yarn hair in long braids decorated with lavish coronet of felt and yarn handmade flowers, felt body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Hechtpuppe Else Hecht (original paper label). Comments: Else Hecht, 1920s. Value Points: most endearing expression is enhanced by original traditional style costume featuring an embroidered vest.
