17" (43 cm.) Firmly-pressed and oil-painted complexion and facial features, three seam head, shaded blue/green eyes with spiral threading, black and brown upper eyeliner, white eye dots, nostril accents, very full cheeks and chin, small closed downcast mouth, blonde mohair wig, cloth body, stitch-jointing at shoulders, disc-jointed hips, separately-stitched thumbs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Kathe Kruse 78939? (feet). Comments: Kathe Kruse, Series IH, circa 1920. Value Points: especially fine complexion and painting, clean body, original wig, costume appears original.
