Each is all cotton twill with center seam face allowing slight definition of nose and chin, stitched-on ears, embroidered facial features, large black pupils and blue irises, upper lashes and brows, tiny nostril dots, embroidered lips with upturned lip corners, cotton twill body with stitch-jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent, some light body spotting. Comments: Germany, 1930s. Value Points: with distinctive matched construction details, the pair wear original country style costumes, the boy with brown plush hair and the girl with yellow yarn hair in coronet.
