Description
14" (36 cm.) All-cloth doll with firmly-pressed and oil-painted facial features and brown hair with delicately swirled curls onto forehead, small blue shaded eyes, white eye dots, black and brown upper eyeliner, nostril dots, tiny closed mouth, blushed ears and cheeks, pronounced double chin, stitch-jointing at shoulders, disc-jointed hips, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, some light body spotting. Marks: Kathe Kruse 13239 (feet). Comments: Kathe Kruse, the smaller version of the Series I doll was introduced in 1927. Value Points: deeply-modeled features are enhanced by especially fine artistic painting.
