Description
14" (36 cm.) Cloth socket head with single seam at back of head, firmly-pressed and oil-painted hair and facial features, brown hair with swirling curls onto forehead, painted blue shaded eyes, black and brown upper eyeliner, nostril dots, closed mouth, slender cloth body, stitch-jointing at shoulders, disc-jointed hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (illegible on feet). Comments: Kathe Kruse, Series X, circa 1935. Value Points: most endearing small version of the early series I with more slender face and body, fine painting, costume is likely original.
