Description
18" (46 cm.) Fabric-covered swivel head with very plump face, small shaded blue painted eyes with brown outline, brown and black upper eyeliner, one-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, blonde human hair wig, firmly-stuffed muslin body, stitch-jointed shoulders, disc-jointed legs. Condition: few facial rubs, some hair trim. Marks: 9864 (and illegible marks). Comments: Kathe Kruse, Series 1-H, the beloved first model doll continued to be presented to the public, this example about 1950. Value Points: the demure-faced child is wearing her original dress, undergarments, socks, shoes and floral coronet.
