Each is all wood with ball or cone-shaped swivel head, unusual wooden body with articulations at waist, shoulders and hips, and with unusual metal plates at yoke and hips; each has painted complexion and facial features and painted hair and/or caps to represent various ethnicities including Turkish, Chinese, Siamese and Japanese, and each is wearing its original costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, attributed to Florig and Otto, 1920s. Value Points: rare models from the firm with fine original painted finish, original costumes; included is one undressed doll illustrating the distinctive body style.
