18" (46 cm.) All-cloth doll with three-seam stitched-on head, firmly-pressed and oil-painted facial features, brown eyes with white eye dots, black and brown upper eyeliner, lightly-tinted brows, nostril accents, closed mouth, original brunette human hair wig, loosely-stitch-jointed arms, not-separately sewn-on thumb, disc-jointed legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 750581 Kathe Kruse (left foot). Kathe Kruse (Original hang tag and wrist tag), each also hand-lettered "Moira Gladys". Comments: Kathe Kruse, the series I model with wig, 1940 era. Value Points: pristine condition of the wistful child, rare model with original wig, painting, crepe coral dress with floral print, shoes, socks, undergarments, and two original paper label ink lettered "Moira Gladys".
