Description
13" (33 cm.) x 10" box. 11" doll. Presented within a heavy board box with colorful image on the lid of two mothers sewing doll costumes for two little dolls is a bisque head doll with blue glass eyes, open mouth, four teeth, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, along with a little box containing a number of costumes already sewn, various sewing notions, a booklet with images and descriptions of costumes, and another booklet with (cut) actual patterns. The book and box are titled "Die Fleissige Puppenschneiderin" (The Hard-Working Doll Seamstress), with patterns and instructions by Julie Lutz, revised by Bertha Heyde. Marks: G.K. 33-105 (doll). Excellent condition of doll, contents, and instruction book; costumes are cut and may not be complete. Germany, 1907.
