20" (51 cm.) Cloth-over-paper-mache swivel head with one pate seam, pressed and painted facial features, rosy complexion, painted brown eyes, white eye dots, black and brown upper eyeliner, accented nostrils, closed mouth, blonde human hair in soft curls, stuffed cloth body with stitch-jointing at shoulders and disc-jointing at hips. Condition: generally excellent, legs slightly sagging. Marks: Kathe Kruse 43874 (and illegible marks on feet). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1945, Series VIII. Value Points: pretty example of the post-war child doll, with original costume.
