14" (36 cm.) Carved wooden socket head with elongated face, very full lower cheeks, painted blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, lashes, defined carving of nostrils, philtrum and cheek dimples, closed mouth, light brown flax hair with coiled braids at the back, firmly-stuffed muslin body, stitch-jointed arms, disc-jointed hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Ursel Erbs Puppe Waldheim Muster Schutz Handarbeit (original paper label). Comments: Ursel Erbs, circa 1950. Value Points: with original Hessian costume and coiffe, original paper wrist label.
