20" (51 cm.) Cloth-over-paper-mache swivel head with one pate seam, pressed and painted facial features, rosy complexion, painted dark blue/green eyes, white eye dots, black and brown upper eyeliner, accented nostrils, closed mouth, brunette human hair in long braids, firmly-stuffed cloth body with stitch-jointing at shoulders and disc-jointing at legs. Condition: generally excellent, one small paint flake under wig at back of head. Marks: Kathe Kruse 43874 (and illegible marks on feet). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1945, Series VIII. Value Points: well-preserved complexion, original wig, and wearing original costume and with original hang tag.
