Description
12" (30 cm.) doll. 10" x 12" watercolor framed. The all-muslin doll has embroidered features, soft brown eyes in distinctive horizontal stitching, dot brows and nostrils, closed mouth, blonde yarn hair with arranged curls, stitch-jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Edith Flack Ackley, 1940s. Value Points: beautiful condition and hair, original costume. Included is framed watercolor of a similar doll by Edith Flack Ackley, original frame with Merwin's Art Shop label.
