Description
14" (36 cm.) Composition (paper mache) socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lower lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, brunette mohair bobbed wig, firmly-stuffed muslin body with stitch-jointing at shoulders, disc-jointing at hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Jeannette 40 Germany (incised on head). Comments: Germany, circa 1930, maker unknown. Value Points: the rare signature doll has fine original finish and is wearing original Tyrolean costume.
