18" (46 cm.) Carved wooden head and upper torso depicting a woman with gentle smile, deeply comb-marked carved hair arranged in chignon at her nape, sculpted definition of eye sockets, tinted eyes and brows, closed mouth with upturned lip corners and defined cheek dimples, cloth upper arms, wooden lower arms, wire-framed skirt form designed for use as tea cozy. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, 1920s. Value Points: the tea-cozy doll is wearing her original costume and has very fine detail of facial features.
