Description
21" (53 cm.) Cloth swivel head with felt-mask pressed and painted facial features, blue side-glancing eyes, blue upper eye shadow, painted side curly lashes, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, blonde frizz-curly hair, firmly-stuffed muslin body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1930s. Value Points: in pristine original condition (except missing shoe soles), the doll has beautiful rosy complexion, and is wearing original detailed folklore costume and carrying a miniature cloth doll in the same style.
