15" (38 cm.) All-muslin doll with embroidered facial features, black horizontally-stitched eyes, dot brows and nostrils, embroidered lips of open mouth, blonde yarn hair in arranged ringlet curls, stitch-jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Edith Flack Ackley, 1940s. Value Points: with distinctively arranged curls, the doll is wearing original costume (paper label pinned to back "Deborah, a Little Girl of Pioneer Days") including Ackley shoes and is carrying a small Ackley doll with original costume, shoes, bonnet, basket and beaded necklace and brooch.
