Description
18" (46 cm.) All-cloth doll with stitched-on three-back-seam head, pressed and oil-painted facial features, shaded brown painted eyes, white eye dots, black and brown upper eyeliner, nostril dots, closed mouth, original brunette human hair wig, stitch-jointed shoulders, loosely sewn-on legs with ribbon that attaches to button at back torso to hold seated or standing pose. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Kathe Kruse 8146 (feet). Comments: Kathe Kruse, the "Hampelchen" series XII-H, circa 1935. Value Points: fine original beautiful painting, original red cotton print dress, undergarments, shoes, socks, and holding two original tin mugs, in original box with lettered name "Sally Karen".
