18" (46 cm.) Carved wooden head and upper torso depicting a slender-faced woman, carved and painted hair arranged in chignon at her nape, sculpted definition of eye sockets, tinted eyes and brows, closed mouth, cloth upper arms, wooden lower arms, wire-framed skirt form designed for use as tea cozy. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, 1920s. Value Points: the tea-cozy doll is wearing her original costume and has very fine detail of carving.
