15" (38 cm.) All-muslin doll with horizontal-embroidered black eyes, dot brows and nostrils, embroidered mouth with parted lips, unusually arranged loop curls formed of fine-thread yarn. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Edith Flack Ackley, 1940s. Value Points: the pretty doll with unusual hair is wearing original costume, undergarments, and distinctive Ackley shoes, and is carrying her own miniature cloth doll by Ackley in original costume.
