Description
15" (38 cm.) x 15". 3" animals. A wooden based white-wooden fenced playground is arranged with seven various wooden playground toys including swings and slides, with nine dogs and cats of flock-finished composition with black bead eyes and whiskers, articulated body and original costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Handwork Kunsterschutz West Germany (paper labels on some animals). Comments: Fritz Wagner Arts and Crafts, the firm began in the 1940s in Rodental, eventually creating more than 300 animal molds, each was hand-painted. Value Points: wonderful miniature ensemble with rare animals and playthings.
