Description
21" (53 cm.) x 17" frame. 15" doll. All-muslin doll with embroidered facial features in classic Ackley manner, blonde fine yarn hair in braided coronet, stitch-jointing at shoulders and hips, and wearing original costume, apron, undergarments. Condition: fair overall, fabric worn on doll and costume, shoes lacking. Comments: Edith Flack Ackley, 1940s. Value Points: included is an original water color of very similar doll drawn and colored by Telka Ackley, with unusual detail of a hanging painting on the wall behind the doll.
