Included in the collection are three classic 13" wooden dolls with one-piece wooden head and torso, jointed arms and legs, painted black and simplistic facial features, round black eye spots with curly upper lashes, single stroke brows, tiny closed mouth with hint of sweet smile painted shoes and socks, each wearing original dress and bonnet, and each signed AMW on head and Shorrock Doll or c. Alice W. Wainwright. Marblehead Mass. on back torso. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Alice Wainwright, Shorrock Dolls, late 1950s.
