13" (33 cm.) x 9" box, 5" doll. Within a cardboard box labeled "Jean Darling's Art Needlework Outfit" with images of the child star on the cover is a small all-bisque doll marked "Japan", a wooden embroidery hoop, stamped doll costumes ready for embroidery and assembly, along with threads, needles, thimble, scissors, and a publicity card relating the story of Jean Darling who was a regular in the Our Gang series from 1927-1929. Condition: contents excellent, box somewhat worn. Comments: the set was published by Standard Colorphone, 1927. Value Points: unusual ensemble with tie-in to young Hollywood child star of the silent film era.
