7" (18 cm.) Wax-over-stockinette form, painted blue eyes and facial features, brunette mohair wig, posed on original base. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schwalm Hessen (ink lettered name on Uebel red heart wrist label). Comments: Marquerite Uebel, 1950s. Value Points: the rare doll wears her traditional costume of the Schwalm region including fourteen-layered skirt, coiffe and bodice trimmed with embroidered epaulets which match her stocking garters.
