23" (58 cm.) Firmly-stuffed muslin with shaped facial features, oval-shaped face with elongated throat, defined shaping of triangular-shaped painted blue eyes, and heart-shaped lips, tiny nose with accent dots, disc-jointed shoulders, floppy disc-jointed legs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: the doll, was patented by Ray Dumont of New York, in 1926; Dumont was a mannequin maker whose foray into dolls appeared to be limited to this one design. Value Points: all original, the boy with red bobbed yarn hair, is wearing colorful tunic, cap, black velvet pants, shoes and socks.
