Description
5" (13 cm.) Six dolls, each with flat-dimensional cloth head, except one with stitched-on nose, having hand-painted facial features and posable bodies, attached to original metal puppet rod with heavy weighted base, each with elaborate original costume to depict their role. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Edith Bartel, pre-BAPS, circa 1935, the age distinguished by the heavy weighted bases which are notably larger than later puppet construction. Value Points: all original, wonderful detail of original costumes.
