Description
8" (20 cm.) Wax-over-stockinette form, painted blue eyes and facial features, brunette mohair wig, posed on original base. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Dolomiten Sudtirol M. Uebel (ink lettered name on Uebel red heart wrist label). Comments: Marquerite Uebel, 1950s. Value Points: wearing traditional costume of the Dolomite region in southern Tyrol, comprising black taffeta brocade skirt under cut-work fringed apron, beaded trim on bodice and elaborate high beaded coiffe. Included is a set of wooden furniture with hand-painted floral decorations, attributed to Kuhn.
