Description
14" (36 cm.) Each has socket head with shaded tan/ochre complexion, brown painted eyes with well-defined upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, blonde human hair, cloth body with stitch-jointing of arms and disc-jointed legs. Condition: 4 985(?) VEB Puppenwerkstatten Bad Kosen (stamp on foot of girl). Comments: VEB, late 1950s. Value Points: the very dear and all original pair comprise boy with short cropped hair wearing tan corduroy overalls, shirt and tie; and girl with blonde braids wearing red dotted cotton dress, undergarments, shoes and socks.
