14" (36 cm.) and 18". Each is of all-tortolon with socket head and jointing at shoulders and hips, sculpted short bobbed hair, painted facial features, painted blue eyes, closed mouth. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (each has original Schildkrot/Kathe Kruse paper wrist label). Comments: Schildkrot under license from Kathe Kruse, circa 1955; the two dolls are pre-1958 as only sleep eyes were offered after that time. Value Points: charming early pair in well-preserved condition, wearing original matching costumes including floral applique on apron pocket.
