11" (28 cm.) x 9". Each with original color and black and white illustrations of Florence K. Upton and verses by Bertha Upton, published by Longmans, Green & Co, Including four hardbound books: The Golliwogg's Auto-Go-Cart, 1901; The Adventures of Two Dutch Dolls; The Golliwog's Fox Hunt; and The Golliwog's Polar Adventures, 1901. Along with two softbound books: Golliwog in the African Jungle, 1909: and The Golliwog in Holland, 1904. Each story relates the adventures of the traditional Grodnertal or peg-wooden dolls and their new friend, the Gollwog doll. Good overall condition, well-read and loved, one binding quite loose, but images and stories are all intact.
