All composition with chubby socket head, sculpted short bobbed hair in light reddish/brown color with forelock curl, painted blue side-glancing googly-like eyes, painted upper lashes, dash brows, pug nose, tiny closed mouth in impish smile, toddler body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent, some light flaking at upper neck torso, light surface lines at back of head. Marks: Campbell Kid, permission Campbell Soup Co., a Petite Doll (stitched on costume cloth tag). Comments: American Character, circa 1928. Value Points: wonderful facial model with original painting, original organdy dress with stitched accents and felt appliques, matching undergarments and bonnet, socks, and shoes.
