Description
7 1/2" (19 cm.) Solid domed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque long slender torso, painted brown circular pate under wig, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed elongated bisque arms and legs, bare bisque feet, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, tiny professional repair to one thumb. Comments: Germany, Kestner, circa 1880. Value points: rarity factors include painted pate, bare feet.
