Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass paperweight eyes with spiral threading and darker blue iris rims, dark eyeliner, mauve blushed eye shadow, painted lashes and feathered brows, black beauty spot, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair in elaborate upswept coiffure over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset jointing at hips and elbows, wooden arms with dowel jointing at shoulders and elbows. Condition: generally excellent, sturdy original body. Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1875. Value Points: finest clarity and quality of bisque with delicate complexion, softly blushed cheeks and chin, and wearing extravagant ball gown with jewels and gala mask.
