Description
16" (41 cm.) Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder-plate, cornflower-blue glass enamel inset eyes enhanced by rich dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair wig over cork pate, stretched-twill-over-wooden fully-articulated shapely lady body with dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and ankles and with bisque lower arms and slightly-cupped hands, costume included. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1875. Value Points: very beautiful bisque and painting on the pale complexioned gentle-featured lady, with original well-articulated body, bisque hands.
