The silk gown of black and white shaded checkerboard fabric features fitted bodice and waist, cartridge pleated skirt, pagoda sleeves and black beaded accents. Included is black flannel cape with lappets, collar, black lace edging, and beaded accents. Also included is wire-framed bonnet with black lace bavolet and rose silk streamers. 4" shoulders. For 17" lady doll. French, circa 1865.
