Description
15" (38 cm.) Latex composition, with socket head, painted facial features, blue eyes in defined sockets, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth, brunette human hair wig, elongated slender torso and limbs, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent, few fingers reglued. Marks: Dewees Cochran Dolls (raised symbol on torso) Comments: the studio doll was created by the artist in studio, circa 1947, named "Cindy" by the artist. Value Points: wearing plaid woolen coat and tam, with long matching skirt, white cotton blouse, cream rayon blouse, checkered cotton pinafore, shorts and play suit, grey flannel fitted coat, along with stand-up paper doll with similar costumes on base that is lettered "Elizabeth's First Day at School".
