Description
13" (33 cm.) Poured wax shoulderhead, very small blue enamel inset eyes, strongly-modeled features, closed mouth, delicately inserted light brown hair tendrils, moustache and goatee, muslin body, wax lower arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent, left thumb tip chipped. Comments: English, circa 1880. Value Points: rare size and gentleman model with moustache and goatee, wearing fine antique costume in the Renaissance manner.
