10" (25 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead of woman with gentle expression on her tilted face, brown sculpted flowing hair, enamel eyes, closed mouth, tow-wrapped body, carved wooden hands and feet, wearing original costume. Condition: generally excellent, few fingers chipped, costume spotted. Comments: Neapolitan, mid-1700s. Value Points: she is holding terra cotta baby with sculpted brown hair with well-defined facial and body features.
