21" (53 cm.) Standing upon a wooden base with marbleized and gilt painted finish is a wooden figure with one-piece head and torso, attached lower legs and arms, having brown enamel downcast eyes, brown sculpted short curly tousled hair with attached gilt metal halo, right arm posed with pointing fingers, and left arm extended, holding a gold wooden orb. Condition: structurally excellent, possible early retouch to figure. Comments: Continental, early 1800s, the figure was also presented with so-called cage skirt in other representations. Value Points: rare model with wonderful sculpting of fingers and facial expression.
