Description
14" (36 cm.) l. 10"h. Of maitrise quality, the Louis XVI style cabinet has burled rosewood veneers on curved front and side aprons, with cabriole bronze legs, beveled glass display table top which opens to velvet-lined display shelf, gold leaf painted table edges with ogee shape, and superb applied gilt bronze mounts on the table aprons and legs. French, mid-19th century, the luxury quality indicates its original presentation by prestige store such as Maison Giroux.
