14" (36 cm.) h. x 10"w. The rosewood cabinet with hinged glass front door is richly ornamented with wood carvings and applique ormolu mounts including cherubic figures, and contains a large assortment of small and miniature books including a 24 volume set of the Miniature Classic Library (issued in 1884) as well as earlier 19th century works. Excellent condition. Circa 1900.
