8" (20 cm.) Wax-over-paper mache shoulderhead, blonde sculpted hair peeking from beneath a sculpted tam with feathered accent, black glass eyes, closed mouth, early body in the taufling style with cloth midriff and upper legs, composition, hips, arms, lower legs, swivel wrists. Condition: very good, typical rubs on face. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: rarity factors include sculpted tam, early rare body, and wearing all-original Scottish costume.
