Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with modeled bosom, blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered arched brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, very-firmly stuffed kid torso and upper arms and legs, bisque forearms with expressively-posed fingers, bisque legs from above the knees, bisque sculpted heeled shoes with posing holes in heels. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2. Comments: Radiquet & Cordonnier, their model for "poupee-statuette" was deposed in 1880, designed as a mannequin for the presentation of theatrical costumes; the design, according to The Encyclopedia of French Dolls by Theimer "fused the world of the doll and the world of art". Value Points: very rare model, created for a few years only, with unique body including modeled bosom, elegant bisque hands, and bisque lower legs with painted shoes.
