Description
7" (18 cm.) x 5". The firm-sided candy box with applied mauve and embossed gilt paper edging features a glass-topped lid with hand-tinted engraving of Cupid delivering a bouquet of flowers to an elegant lady, while the courting gentleman hides behind a nearby shrub. Contained inside are various other note cards and tokens from the early 1800s. Excellent condition.
