Description
13" (33 cm.) h. 11"w. A flat-backed wooden framed cabinet with curved glass front and glass sides, has rich gilt metal overlay and embossed ormolu crest; the interior is fitted with luxe emerald green velvet and mirrors which center an ivory velvet tufted cushion upon which rests a coronet of tiny pearl beads and silk lilies of the valley. Excellent condition. French, circa 1885, the presentation case was designed to preserve the bridal coronet.
