Bisque socket head, large dark blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, rich mauve-blushed eye shadow, widely-arched brushstroked brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over Steiner pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with bisque hands, separately-sculpted fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A 13 Le Parisien Bte SGDG 13. Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1890. Value Points: very beautiful gentle expression enhanced by most artistic painting of features, especially blushing of eye shadow, cheeks and chin, lovely antique costume with matching hat, signed French shoes, and rare bisque hands.
