Description
17" (43 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with neck mechanism allowing the head to tilt side to side and forward and back (as well as swivel), plump face, small blue glass enamel eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and feathered brows, accented nostrils, mauve blushed eye shadow, closed mouth, accent line between the lips, ears pierced into face, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, softly-stuffed kid body with gusset jointing at hips and knees, bisque arms to above the elbows, lovely costume. Condition: generally excellent, hairline at back side of right arm. Comments: French, circa 1865, attributed to Leontine Rohmer. Value Points: beautiful unique facial model, rare neck jointing, original body, lovely bisque.
